Another Carbondale Main Street Volunteer Day Goes Off Without a Hitch

Filed under Misc by Lauren Cook on .

Three times a year, Greenridge Landscaping joins forces with Carbondale Main Street to coordinate the mass planting of annuals in Carbondale's Town Square.  This past Saturday, volunteers gathered to help plant over 1,000 summer-blooming flowers including zinnias, begonias, angelonia and marigolds.  Workers also spread compost and fertilizer, watered, pulled weeds and picked up trash.

Greenridge Landscaping is proud to be a part of creating a more beautiful Carbondale and appreciate everything that the Main Street organization does for our community.  We are dedicated to maintaining Town Square and other green spaces in Downtown Carbondale for everyone to enjoy .

And lastly, we want to send a huge THANK YOU  to all the volunteers!

Bring on the flowers!!!
